That call is a conversation, not an interview. It is a chance for us to learn more about your work and for you to ask us anything about how our program works and whether Mockingbird Incubator is the right fit for your project. We do not ask projects to submit a full application before having this conversation.

Fiscal sponsorship is a formal partnership that includes financial oversight, compliance requirements, and shared responsibility. At Mockingbird Incubator, we take that seriously. Our program is built around clear systems, transparency, and education so that every project we sponsor understands how their organization operates and grows over time.
Submitting your intake form is the first step in our review process. It does not guarantee acceptance into our program, but it does tell us that your project meets our baseline criteria and that you are ready to have a real conversation about fit.
